Hi Jan. There is only one person with my name as it is now. But I'm not sure I trust that search. It said there were no Renichs in the USA. Do know there was another person (our cousin) who I shared names with before either of us married.
any relation to the famous R.A. Torrey? was he connected to the Alliance church? we have family connection to the Alliance-my aunt was a secretary at a church for years and I had cousins who were missionaries in Indonesia. Suddenly getting the point---of the name,Torrey.

They said that not all names are in their data base, so evidently "Renich" isn't in there. So how useful is this? I don't know. But I thought it was fun. "Torrey" isn't in their data base for first names either, and we know there are quite a few people named Torrey (besides my dd).
And R.A. Torrey? My great-grandfather! How fun that you know of him, Linda! He was not, as far as I know, connected with the Alliance church...
There are NO people in the U.S. with my name. Ha ha. Since I'm not in the U.S. that is true, but it is still pretty funny. My last name isn't even in the database, which means it is really rare!!
